In August of 2024, we closed on 184 Colebrook Rd and are developing as an Affordable homeownership opportunity.

In September of 2024, we closed on 151 Old Harbor Rd to develop 4 affordable homeownership opportunities.

We commissioned housing works to study the needs, opportunities, strategies, and attitudes about housing in Little Compton. The study gave us valuable insight into the dire housing needs of our community.

We hosted our first Little Compton Homebuyer Education event on 1/10/2024. We plan to make this a recurring resource for our community. Thanks to RI Housing and Church community Housing for sharing information with our community and a special thanks to BayCoast Bank for sponsoring the event and providing Pizza as well as information on their services for homebuyers.

The Housing Trust presented our organization and our work to the community at the Commons Foundation Community Meeting on housing, along with the Agricultural Conservancy Trust, the Planning Board, the UCC Housing Working Group, and many concerned members of our community.

In October of 2024, the Housing Trust presented our current work, research, and future goals at a community meeting hosted by the Commons Foundation.
